The Path to Power Podcast

‘ I was so desperately wanting love and affection I was willing to do anything’ with Adele Mulligan S3 EP2

Dominy Roe

In this episode I talk with Adele Mulligan. Aside from being the Finding Freedom Womens Collective ‘OG’ & Godmother, Adele helps people to understand their belief systems and how to change them to improve the quality of their lives through her work with Change Grow Live - Building Bridges Programme.

Adele and I talk about her childhood and first impressions of relationships that then played into her adult romantic relationships. Adele vulnerably talks about the abuse she has overcome in many relationships and shares about leaving home aged 13 years old, trying to fix the hole inside of herself with drugs and with men and fighting to be a mother to her children and break the cycle of unhealthy relationships. Adele now has six years of being sober from drugs and alcohol, is reunited with her children and her work with parents has been nominated for awards. Adele also co-created a Confident Parenting Programme using her lived experience and in depth knowledge around reprogramming deeply embedded negative beliefs.
